In Visible Ink is a physical and digital platform that centres and makes visible the invisible, ephemeral and erased stories of people and communities marginalised by race and religion.

Through In Visible Ink, we share stories, art and projects that guide people to see the world critically, and through new eyes.  The project creates opportunities to reflect and participate in honest conversations about the alternative narratives of colonisation, slavery and genocide that walk invisibly beside that of globalisation and progress, and to catalyse positive change from dark and erased histories.

We act with the strong belief that institutions like museums can create safe spaces for people to negotiate some of the more difficult conversations facing society today. In an increasingly polarised world, we need to find ways to share our multiple stories and histories that create hope, not fear.

We need to acknowledge that history is diverse, and plural, and not always easy to reconcile; and we need to enable these stories to become visible in a broader and more inclusive national conversation.

Our impact driven approach ensures that the arts provokes opportunities to engage and also influence behavioural and social change by providing audiences with a call to act on their experiences.
